Once grips lock without progression, the referee starts a 10-second clock. If no action: penalty + advantage to the opponent.

Three-Strike Disqualification
1st penalty = advantage to opponent. 2nd = 2 points to opponent. 3rd = automatic disqualification.

Double-Pull Reset
Both athletes pull guard with no stand-up in 10s: bout reset standing, advantage to both. Repeat occurrence = double DQ.

Dynamic Lapel Guard
Lapel guard welcome when dynamic and progressive. Pure stalling: stand-up reset — passer standing without grips, guard player seated without grips, advantage to opponent.

50/50 Sweep Cap
Maximum 2 sweeps per athlete (2-2). Once reached, bout reset standing with no penalty. Identified stalling = advantage to the stalling athlete's opponent.

Tiebreak — Last Action Wins
Equal points or advantages: athlete with the most recent positive score wins. 0-0 result: the athlete who pulled guard LAST loses. The match always starts standing.
